All is well with us. We are sorry if our lack of blogging made anyone nervous. The truth is that our hands are full and getting on the computer has come second to other things like eating, sleeping, and showering :)
We just had a fantastic week with Uncle JJ (Jonathan), Aunt Mary, and Cousin Anna. It was so much fun to have another two year old in the house and Anna kept us entertained with her ability to repeat just about anything. Anna also knows lots of songs, so Rosie enjoyed following along to her lead. We'll post some photos later - but it was a great time.
We had a bit of a scare when Mary (who is 27 weeks pregnant) had steady contractions and had to be admitted to the hospital (UCSF) overnight. It appears that she may have become dehydrated on the airplane ride to SF, which may have triggered the contractions. But there is no real way to know why this happened. The good news is that while she has been having a contraction from time to time, it is nothing like last Tuesday when they came two minutes apart! So let's all make sure to say a little prayer that Baby Struthers stays cooking a lot longer.
I'd like to brag about my husband for a moment because he inserted a new NG tube in Rosalie yesterday. Obviously it is not a pleasant experience to put a tube down your daughter's nose - but Rosalie was a trooper and she is still at the age where distraction works. So she settled down quite easily after the procedure.
Susannah is getting bigger and bigger. She provides wonderful therapy for Rosalie. It is so nice to see them together.
Rosalie is admitted to the hospital on Friday for her fourth round of chemotherapy. We will be there for three days, barring any unforeseen circumstances.
Thank you all for the continued support. Not a day goes by that my strength is not rekindled by someone's kind email, blog posting, note, or other gesture. I don't know what we would do without our family and friends.

So "no news" really is "good news." Positive energy continues to be sent to ya'll from this coast. -wf
Hurray for brave Daddy and a successful NG tube insertion! I remember getting trained on that when I became a Red Cross trainer, and thinking, "Boy, do I hope I never have to actually do this!"
Prayers to Mary and her family, and of course to the Reibel clan on the eve of this next round of chemo.
