Have a Chance Walk - NYC

Hi Everybody,

Later this month, I am planning to lead a walk across the Brooklyn Bridge to help raise funds for two groups seeking a cure for brain tumors. I am doing this to support the efforts of a very brave young friend of ours here in San Francisco named Rosalie Reibel.

Rosalie is a courageous and remarkably good humored little girl who had a brain tumor removed in May. She has displayed amazing strength in dealing with the after effects of this surgery as have her parents, Carolyn and Mark Reibel. Rosalie is the granddaughter of good friends from the East Coast, Mary and Harvey Struthers.

Rosalie will be two years and two months old when our "Team Rosalie" meets at the South Street Seaport on Sunday, October 29th. Our walk will support the work of "Have A Chance" and the Brain Tumor Society, two non-profit groups working to find a cure for brain tumors and to support families who must deal with this very difficult situation.

If you can be in New York on that Sunday, please join us. The three mile walk begins at at 10 a.m., and our Team Rosalie will be waving a banner so you can find us. There is no registration fee, but we hope each participant can raise at least $50.00 to support the walk.
