Round Two

Rosalie has begun round two of her "maintenance" chemotherapy. This includes an oral chemotherapy, etoposide, that we administer at home. We give her 1.1ml (a very small amount) each night. We mix it with a grape syrup to try to mask the icky taste. Actually, the pharmacist has never tasted it herself (go figure!)- but she says that she assumes it tastes pretty gross since it is technically an IV drug. We will give it to Rosalie for 21 days.

Please direct your prayers towards this chemotherapy - asking that this medicine leave no stone unturned as it eliminates any microscopic trace of the tumor. Pray too that Rosalie remains vital and strong as her blood counts begin to dip.

THANK YOU!!

---Carolyn

We're sending our strength and prayers for the meds to leave no bad-cell behind and for Rosalie to hold tight to her strength.

Hugs,

Little Rosalie and her apparent strength and good will have inspired me in difficult time in my own life to fight and be strong! If adorable little Rosalie can go through what she is going through, then I can too. My prayers and positive thoughts go out to Rosalie and the Reibel/Struthers' family every day.
