While we have been so excited that Rosalie has finished her chemotherapy, we have been waiting for her blood to recover enough to be able to have her Broviac surgically removed. Her lab this morning showed that her platelets (for clotting) and neutrophils (for fighting infections) are strong enough for the surgery. She is scheduled for 6:30am tomorrow (Thursday).
Please pray for safe anesthesia, safe surgery, and of course, pray that she will never need a central line again.
LOVE,
Carolyn

Ahhh! A nice visual image of the Broviac. Hope this doesn't give anyone the heebie jeebies. Just wanted to show you what's going on inside Rosalie's tubies.
