A way to help . . .

So many of you have asked how you can help. One way to help is to give blood or volunteer at a local blood drive. Blood is essential in treating people with cancer, blood disorders, sickle cell anemia, or emergency situations. We have attached a link to see how you might be able to help in your part of the world.

Rosalie is a beautiful baby. Your post said that a way to help is to give blood---does it help to mention Rosalie's name? Does that benefit her at all? and What blood type is she? I will keep her in my prayers for only good health!

To answer your question - you do not need to mention Rosalie's name at all if you give blood. It's more the idea that all cancer patients need blood transfusions from healthy donors. I did see on a poster in the hospital that there is a shortage of O-positive and O-negative.
