Audiogram Results / Food Glorious Food

Rosalie's audiogram showed that her hearing is still great - so we will continue in rounds three and four with the same dose of Cisplatin (Cisplatin can have a negative effect on hearing).

Rosalie ate about five ounces of food today! One ounce of yogurt in the morning, two ounces of broth in the middle of the day, and two more ounces of broth at night. I was eating a salad with dinner and she wanted some. She started crying when she couldn't have it, so we let her lick some dressing off the spinach. This seemed to satisfy her craving. It is so wonderful to see her with an appetite and an increased endurance with liquids. Soft chews (like spaghettios or a mushed banana)are the next consistency to conquer.

Ahh . . . the things we take for granted.

Goodnight,
Carolyn

Great news.
Rosalie seems to come back to normal.
I think her fights with the caregivers is a PLUS!
Go, Rosalie, this mashed banana you will enjoy it soon.

Rosie, it was so wonderful to see you today, even if you were sleepy and loopy. Your smile lights up a room, and brightens my day, and I am thinking of you and hoping all went well this afternoon.
