Okay - it's unclear exactly which kind of infection she had. A culture from the very first day tested positive for staph epi - the same infection she had last month. So maybe she had the strep as well - or maybe it was a contaminant.
But whatever the case nothing has tested positive for bacteria after the vancomycin. So we hope to go home tomorrow with home care IV.

So sorry you're still stuck in the hospital Rosie - although, the nurses do take great care of you. I had an incredible visit with all you guys last week (including the grandmoms) and was thrilled to be able to spend some quality time with my rosie.
