I'll try not to jinx this, but this has been the very first round of chemotherapy where Rosalie hasn't (a) been admitted for fevers -or- (b) needed a blood transfusion.
Her hemoglobin has been hanging out in the 7s (LOW) for several days, but she is tolerating it, so they don't want to give her a needless blood transfusion. If an adult had a hemoglobin level as low as Rosalie's, they would be incredibly lethargic, almost unable to get out of bed. But babies just seem to adjust better than adults. She has been a little cranky, but not dysfunctionally so.
She is scheduled to begin the next round on Wednesday (yup, that would be Valentine's Day!).
You're doing great, Rosalie!
