Radiation

Rosalie begins radiation therapy this Wednesday, July 9. Her simulation was last Thursday. I wish I had had my camera with me. The radiation oncology department is mostly for adults, so the waiting room does not have that cute pediatric touch. Rosalie had on this bright fuschia dress (Thank you, Poppy and Meema) and was sitting in this huge leather chair waiting for her turn. She looked so healthy, happy, and sweet in that grown-up waiting room. As usual, Rosalie was a pro with all the anesthesia and woke up with a smile.

CR, what does a radiation simulation entail? I am guessing they go through the general process to make sure they know what to expect. We will gather the energy giving troops for this coming Wednesday. I was up at Alford Lake this weekend and brought back loads of blueberry blue spirit for Rosey, too. Lots of love, Elisabeth Snell.

The Reibel's are always in our thoughts and with Rosalie in the lead the path, while a bit rocky, will lead to the sunshine.
