We have had such a wonderful summer! We started with Rosalie's graduation from preschool and made our way to the East Coast, Mexico, and Tahoe. At each of these locations the kids had a dose of true SUMMER full of family, friends, swimming, and sun. We must say that we feel lucky to have escaped the San Francisco fog. Romantic and cozy at its best, this summer's fog has been particularly cold and dreary. We are trying to get photos together from these summer days to illustrate our adventures.
In other news, Rosalie starts kindergarten on Monday - a day we can hardly believe we have reached.
Of course my excitement is tempered by the fact that Rosalie has an MRI this morning at 8:30am. If we get good news at this scan I will truly be able to thrust myself into the thought that Rosalie has made it to kindergarten, a milestone we thought she might never make when the doctors gave us the devastating news of her prognosis four+ years ago. I literally remember thinking in my head, "Oh my God. This doctor is telling me that my daughter might not make it to kindergarten."
Please, please send your good thoughts Rosalie's way as she undergoes anesthesia this morning. We pray that Rosalie's MRI is clean, clear, and cancer-free.
Love always,
The Reibels
